TAKEN, of course, is not about Bruce, JKD, or the martial arts at all.
It is, however, a great movie where the main character truly understands the dangers of the real world and its philosophy is extremely accurate for a Hollywood movie. It is also a shining example of emotional control in extreme situations.

Dan Inosanto
Dan Inosanto Is less well known than Bruce Lee, but may be more important. Dan was Bruce Lee's partner in the study and instruction of realistic personal defense methods. No one but Inosanto knows all the various avenues of exploration that went into the development of the Jeet Kune do approach, and without Dan, it would have died in 1973. A Personal Defense would not have been possible without his dedication to spreading the truth about self-defense.
