Just as the sun is coming up on Saturday morning, two armed men kick in your door and threaten you. What do you do? Do you surrender and hope for the best? Is it an impossible situation? Are you helpless? Do they HAVE to succeed?

When this scenario went down in Tulsa a couple of weeks ago, 59-year-old Larry Ryan took action, took the gun, and shot one of the invaders. In fact, Larry ended up on the ground wrestling one bad guy while the other pistol whipped whipped him. Larry still got control of a gun and the situation.
I love this bit from the story:
"The homeowner wrestled a gun from one of the suspects... and fired several rounds...EMSA medics asked police to search for the man's fingers".
Is it wrong to laugh out loud? Did I mention Larry did it all in only his underwear?
Cpl. Scott Anderson is quoted as saying "Some people have that fighting spirit in them". I should say so! It's all about fighting spirit!
Every situation is different, and no one can say that when faced with a similar threat, it would work out the same. The fact is, it DID work out this time, because the intended victim simply refused to be victimized. What about YOU?
